Terms of Use
SlashPhotos is licensed to you under Apple's Standard License Agreement for App Store apps. The terms below add what is specific to SlashPhotos. Where the two differ, Apple's agreement applies.
Free and Pro
- The scan, the results and every tip are free, and you get 20 free uses to delete or shrink items.
- SlashPhotos Pro removes the limit and unlocks the nightly session. It is an auto-renewing weekly or annual subscription, at the price the app shows in your currency before you confirm.
- New subscribers may be offered a free trial. It turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that period ends.
- Manage or cancel any time in Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro stays on until the period you paid for ends.
- Apple handles every payment and refund, so we never see your payment details. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting
- Nothing is deleted without your confirmation, and every deletion goes through iOS.
- Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, where you can recover them. Once you empty it, or after 30 days, iOS removes them for good, and neither we nor Apple can bring them back.
- If you use iCloud Photos, a deletion applies on every device signed in to that library.
- Duplicates, similar shots, blurry photos and suggested keepers are suggestions. Look before you confirm, and keep a backup of anything you can't afford to lose.
Compressing
A compressed photo or video is smaller because it holds less than the original. You can play or compare both before you choose. If you replace the originals, they go to Recently Deleted like any deletion; you can also keep them and add the smaller versions alongside.
Space figures
The space the app shows as ready to free is an estimate. What your iPhone actually gets back depends on iOS, iCloud Photos and when you empty Recently Deleted.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded. How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy: the app collects none.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Using the app after that means you accept the new version.
