Privacy
SlashPhotos collects no data. Nothing leaves your phone: no account, no tracking, no analytics, no servers. Purchases are handled by Apple, with a little help from RevenueCat.
What happens on your iPhone
- Every scan, duplicate check and blur check runs on the device.
- No photo, video or anything about them is ever sent anywhere.
- There is no sign-in, no email and no account.
- Reminders are scheduled on the phone. There is no push server and no device token.
- The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting code.
The two times the app uses the network
- Apple's purchase system, when you buy or restore a subscription. We use RevenueCat to keep track of subscriptions, so it sees your purchase details and an anonymous ID when the app checks whether you're subscribed. It never sees your photos or anything about them.
- Downloading an original from iCloud, only when you ask to compress a specific photo that is stored there. That request goes to Apple, as it would from the Photos app.
Deleting
Nothing is deleted without your confirmation, and every deletion goes through iOS. Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, where you can recover them.

This website
This site sets no cookies. It counts visits, clicks and errors with an analytics service hosted in the EU, without storing any ID in your browser, so it can't recognize you on your next visit. The app sends it nothing. The site remembers your light or dark choice in your browser's local storage, and nowhere else.
